Does anything ever leave my browser?+
No. Every operation (compression, hashing, metadata stripping, similarity scoring) runs entirely on your device using browser APIs. No file data is ever sent over the network.
Which file formats are supported?+
Compressor handles JPEG, PNG, and WEBP. Hash-Morph and PureHash accept any file format. EchoDetect compares any two files regardless of type.
Do you use cookies or analytics?+
We use Vercel Analytics for anonymous, aggregated page-view data. No individual tracking, no fingerprinting. Signed-in Pro users get a secure session cookie to stay logged in. No third-party tracking scripts.
What does Pro include?+
Batch processing (up to 20 files at once), a 50 MB per-file limit, and clean output with no Squezr branding. Every free tool stays free forever; Pro only adds on top.
Are the algorithms open or proprietary?+
All primitives are published open standards: SHA-256 for hashing, CTPH (ssdeep) for similarity, standard binary operations for hash morphing. No black boxes.
